Dear Loyal AAG Families,

This is Sue Renshaw, owner of All American Gymnastics, myself, along with our wonderful staff, hope you and your family are healthy and making the most of this difficult situation. I wanted to share some information with you regarding the history of the gym, what is going on currently and our promise to you, your family and our community.

History

The last few weeks have been absolutely surreal and probably the most challenging as a small business owner that I can remember. Not only is AAG a small business it is a family business. Along with my daughter, Emily who manages AAG, I have a son and daughter and 2 grandsons but my family also consists of another kind of baby - my business, AAG employees and all of the AAG students and their families. My previous experience as a ballet dancer led me into the crazy world of owning a gym.. I started teaching ballet to the team gymnasts at St Louis Spirits in efforts to offset the team expense for my youngest daughter. So, yes I got into this amazing sport as a team parent which led me into coaching and eventually the opportunity to buy All American Gymnastics 22 years ago! I have been so grateful for each and every experience, incredible practices, amazing meets, sharing proud moments of gymnasts inside and outside of the gym but most of all the family that is created at All American.

Today

The gym is officially closed, the lights are off and it’s quiet. The gym is rarely quiet. We have a handful of staff making videos to keep our gymnasts, tumblers and ninjas engaged and active along with our support staff doing administrative tasks. The gym may be quiet but we are busy working behind the scenes to have the gym filled with smiling faces again soon!

OUR PROMISE

This promise is to our families, to our amazing staff and our community – All American Gymnastics and Super Ninja – will come back and come back strong. We have been working to trim every nonessential expense and secure the necessary SBA funding, so AAG can recover from this. It is going to take patience, hard work and support of our AAG staff and families. As the t-shirt campaign we started this week says, I DON’T QUIT, hard work is a part of gymnastics so we know it can and will be done!

Who Are We??? AAG!!!

As you know, tuition is auto-debited on the 15th of each month and that date is approaching. We have three options, please review them all and select the option that works best for your family.

#1. REMAIN ENROLLED AND EARN 10%.

Class and Team families who choose to remain enrolled will be significantly rewarded with our 110% Family Loyalty Credit. During our pause of operations, 110% of all tuition dollars your family pays beginning April 1 will be held as a credit on your account in the form of a “Family Loyalty Credit”. Your total credit will be divided evenly over 12 months to reduce future tuitions.

EXAMPLE: Assume our pause of operations continues through April and May and we re-open on June 1.

-If your family’s tuition is $100/month your two month total is $200 for April and May. Add in an additional 10% ($20) brings your total FLC to $220.

-The full $220 will be distributed evenly over the next 12 months once we resume operations. Your tuition would be reduced by $18.33/month for 12 months.

As an extra thank you, you will also receive one FREE Pass per enrolled child per month of paused operations for your choice of a:
                    (1) Funday, (2) Activity Night, (3) NERF Night, (4) Team Clinic, or (4) a 30-minute Private Lesson.

Families will also receive a credit for April tuition which was charged in March before the gym closed.

EXAMPLE: Assume our pause of operations continues through April and May and we re-open on June 1.

-One Child Enrolled: Your family pays a total of $30 on April 15th. You will receive full credit for the first month back and $30 off the second month.

I will end this with my heartfelt gratitude. THANK YOU for believing in us and especially for entrusting your children with us. And, more than I can express in words, THANK YOU for your continued support. We can’t wait for the lights to be turned back on and families to fill our gym again. Wishing you, your loved ones and especially, all who have been hurt by this virus, a quick return to our new normal.
